Conan by HidaKuma Conan by HidaKuma
Well, there is my first Conan...
This time I worked hard in the face, pose, and background.
As always, now I see a lot of mistakes, but I'm bored of this pic, so... upload and next! ;P
I tried to do a deep of perception effect blurring the skeleton and background, but the final result didn't like me, so I decided to let them untouched.
... And that's all :D

... Y ya está! :D

Love this one!
I don't agree with ~Jacknife2058's opinion on lighting, though. Not that I think he's totally wrong. It's just my taste, though, that things left concealed add to realism. It was the lighting I thought to compliment you on first ;)

Lovely Lovely work!!!

Well, the issue of light was tricky. I made it strong and direct to add volume and depth to the scene.
The background was not blurred, and I opted for very marked shadows to add depth between the elements.
By the way, the dirty fog did not help.
Nex time maybe I could add color to the light to tone down the scene and then change the colors with photoshop...
Well, if I were always modifying things, I would never upload anything, I always see improvements everywhere!
Thanks for your comments! ...and sorry about my english, it's frustrating not being able to explain anything as well as I want :/

You explained everything fine ;)

One thing with English speakers, especially Americans, no one REALLY speaks English well.

Be well, Brother :peace:

Very nice! But I don't think that skeleton will be any match for Conan's muscles...

hahaha, sure! Now I think I should include 2 or 3 more skeletons nex time :D

Cool! He really does communicate a sense of grim and savage power.

If I have a gripe, it's that the lighting seems a little harsh to the point that the shadows over-conceal. For example his left hand is barely distinguishable from the stone wall behind it.

yeah, you're right. I think the problem was in the final contrast adjustment layer. I made a mask to equalize the entire image erasing the layer on the top and middle details, and I think forget this hand.
I'll keep on mind next time :D
Thanks for your comments, and sorry about my poor english ;P
