Well, there is my first Conan...
This time I worked hard in the face, pose, and background.
As always, now I see a lot of mistakes, but I'm bored of this pic, so... upload and next! ;P
I tried to do a deep of perception effect blurring the skeleton and background, but the final result didn't like me, so I decided to let them untouched.
... And that's all :D


Bueno, aquí está mi primer Conan...
Esta vez trabajé mas la cara, pose y fondo.
Como siempre, ahora veo un monton de errores, pero estoy aburido ya de esta imagen o sea que... a subirla y siguiente! ;D
Probé a darle un poco mas de profindidad difuminando el fondo y el equeleto, pero al final no me gustó como quedaba, con lo que al final lo dejé sin tocar.
... Y ya está! :D

I don't agree with ~Jacknife2058's opinion on lighting, though. Not that I think he's totally wrong. It's just my taste, though, that things left concealed add to realism. It was the lighting I thought to compliment you on first ;)

Well, the issue of light was tricky. I made it strong and direct to add volume and depth to the scene.
The background was not blurred, and I opted for very marked shadows to add depth between the elements.
By the way, the dirty fog did not help.
Nex time maybe I could add color to the light to tone down the scene and then change the colors with photoshop...
Well, if I were always modifying things, I would never upload anything, I always see improvements everywhere!

Very nice! But I don't think that skeleton will be any match for Conan's muscles...

Cool! He really does communicate a sense of grim and savage power.

If I have a gripe, it's that the lighting seems a little harsh to the point that the shadows over-conceal. For example his left hand is barely distinguishable from the stone wall behind it.

yeah, you're right. I think the problem was in the final contrast adjustment layer. I made a mask to equalize the entire image erasing the layer on the top and middle details, and I think forget this hand.
I'll keep on mind next time :D
